What is Mindful Miles?

When I was training for my first marathon I would finish my weekly long runs with an overwhelming feeling of accomplishment. I’d never felt so incredibly proud of myself, so invincible, like there was nothing I couldn’t do. I think what made that feeling so sweet was that I did it for me and the only way I was successful was because of me. No one did the hard work for me. I heaved, I cried, I put in the work. I made it to the place I thought I could never (and would never) go, and then I kept going.

That feeling became addicting and I learned to chase it everywhere. In my training of course, but also in my personal and professional life.

I’m here today to help you find that feeling. We’re all so incredibly capable of doing things bigger than we imagine. We’re so powerful and don’t even realize the size of the mountains we will move yet.

I’m not here to change your life, that’s on you. I’m here to share my stories, give you some guidance, to cheer you on, and to help you figure out what’s next — one step at a time.

So let’s get running! I encourage you to journal, take photos, do something to help you remember these moments and milestones because with each step, with each mile, you’re getting closer to the invincible person you are destined to be.

I can’t wait to see you at the finish line, and to cheer you on through all of the finish lines. Thank you for being on this journey with me.
